Formed in Salzburg, Austria, in 1993, Belphegor have spent more than three decades forging a reputation as one of the most uncompromising forces in extreme metal. Combining the relentless brutality of death metal with the dark atmosphere and sinister melodies of black metal, the band developed a distinctive sound built on speed, aggression, technical precision and blasphemous intensity.
